John Terry is a good football captain. There is no doubt about that but with the clout surrounding him at the moment, he should just sit back and take a good look at himself from afar. He should ask himself “what message am I sending out to my fans?” The mature ones like myself, may be able to differenciate between what is shown on the field and the man himself but the young ones may perceive what he did as a norm and also do it when they get a chance later on in their lives. So Terry… to resign or not to resign that is the question.
Terry Resign?

Singgahsana Cinta
inginku duduki
singgahsana cinta
hati bertahta berlian
kerusi berisi tulus
Tiara bersulam
kata
tanjak
bercincinkan maya
kau raja
hatiku
ku sultan
jiwamu

Kepada DJ Radio
Kepada DJ radio di Malaysia, kalau boleh jangan mainkan bunyi kereta emergency brake. Ianya mengelabarkan pemandu kereta yang mendengar radio.
Terima kasih

Jika
Jikaku
dapat berdiri,
Takkanku sia-siakan
kakiku
Jikaku
dapat melihat kamu
takkanku alihkan
pandanganku
Jikaku
dapat merasakan hadirmu
takkanku
biarkanmu berlalu
Jikaku
dapat tambat hatimu
takkanku lepaskan
titianmu

Fraser’s Hill
Fraser’s Hill is located off Kuala Kubu Baharu so for those staying in KL it is not that far. For bird watching, it is the place to be. For golfers, it is the place to play without getting too sweaty and hot. Well for families…. there are not enough attraction for the children except for the boat ride and maybe perhaps the waterfall. The authorities should come up with more innovative ideas on how to develop the area without disturbing the flora and fauna even more so when there is an administrative office there.

Hamparan Kasih
bayangmu kucari
kekadang ku ragu
ku kembali
untuk berpisah
kupinta
kurelakan masaku
kupaksakan setiaku
kurinduimu
hamparan kasihmu
membelai naluriku
sepi tanpa teman
bicara untuk berkongsi
santapanku kamu
tenangku kamu
bisikku kamu
aku adalah kamu

Mini Me
I observed mini me
on a globe
in an antique
shop
I observed mini me
busy doing routine
on the hamster’s wheel
going no where
I observed mini me
pleasing others
hurting himself
oh my…
I observed mini me
motionless
wake up mini me
wake up……

I Saw
I saw a man
walking alone
without anything
to eat
I saw a man
who eats
and never stops
except to drink.
I saw a woman
who sells
people buying
until old
I saw a woman
who prays
till the end of day
not knowing the time
I saw life
engulf it
savour it
for it will not last

Tunggu
oleh Raimizar Rahim
Aku tunggu
kau terjaga dari tidur
rambutmu mengurai
lesu selesu tubuhmu
Aku tunggumu
di meja sarapan
roti kahwinmu
air jerangku
Aku tunggumu
di muka pintu
di pintu hati
bukalah aku masih menunggu

Some People
Notice how some people can make you lousy and they can get away with it! What if God has a way of punishing those people on the spot, wouldn’t it be nice? To see those who do something to you suffer, eventhough it is just a mild one. I am not a sadist; just a just man. I heard somebody said recently that we should be nice to those who are not nice to us. Hmm…. thinking…..maybe NOT. To see the betrayers walking innocently as if nothing had happened is a grave sin in my eyes and I am sure that it is in yours too. Well no moral policing today….sorry. Maybe next time!
Are we up for it?
Everybody needs a sense of belonging. The sense of being at home, comfortable and being at peace. Can we live alone? That is the question often asked by people. Are we social beings or we portray ourselves to be as such? What if we were to live in the jungle, are we able to survive? Alone? Of course! It all comes back to our basic need for shelter, clothing and food. Are we up for it?

Cinta Milik Kita
Idamanku
Rupamu disimpan
parasmu dihalang
badanmu lurus berbaju
tapak tanganmu kulihat
tanganmu tidak disentuh
hatimu tidak diusik
cuma untuk dimiliki
untuk diimami
suaramu disorok
mengalunkan
kata-kata pujian
bahasa anbiya
kamu mulia
walau tersorok
kamu idaman
walau tersimpan

Tambatan Hati
kau kulihat riang
ketika tak bersama
ketika duka
kita berdua
kucoretkan warkah
hati buat tatapanmu
agar kamu
fahami kata anganku
Siapa kita
suatu masa lampau
itu bukan kita kini
saling memiliki
Engkau satu
dalam seribu
juga banyak
dalam berjuta
ku mahu kau abadi
terukir di batu hati
tertambat di pagar nurani
bukan hanya sampai pagi
Look at ourselves
Are you satisfied when someone tells you that you are a good person. Have you actually looked at yourself from a distance and really observed yourself?
Hmm… maybe the first thing you’ll say is I’ve got to get rid of my bulging tummy… well back to the issue at hand. We are our best critiques because we know ourselves better. Sometimes we may do something that is not acceptable in the eyes of the society but in reality we really don’t have much of a choice. Running a red light because if the car stops.. well it won’t start again! We do have to make those type of tough decisions as we race towards of goals in life. May I ask you what are we chasing or racing for? We leave our children to go to work. You leave your beautiful wife to fend for herself and you also may leave her for the occasional overseas trip.. all because you have to. Are we too engrossed in the rat race that we leave our loved ones behind. I gotta run so you take care of yourselves okay.
Usin bolt has to run too but he is making millions in under ten seconds! Are we even close to making millions in a year?
Ask yourselves again. Who are we? What are our roles in life? Who will actually help us and comfort us in our time of distress? Look at ourselves from a distance and maybe we’ll find out.
