Notice how some people can make you lousy and they can get away with it! What if God has a way of punishing those people on the spot, wouldn’t it be nice?  To see those who do something to you suffer, eventhough it is just a mild one. I am not a sadist; just a just man. I heard somebody said recently that we should be nice to those who are not nice to us. Hmm…. thinking…..maybe NOT. To see the betrayers walking innocently as if nothing had happened is a grave sin in my eyes and I am sure that it is in yours too. Well no moral policing today….sorry. Maybe next time!

Everybody needs a sense of belonging. The sense of being at home, comfortable and being at peace. Can we live alone? That is the question often asked by people. Are we social beings or we portray ourselves to be as such? What if we were to live in the jungle, are we able to survive? Alone? Of course! It all comes back to our basic need for shelter, clothing and food. Are we up for it?

Are you satisfied when someone tells you that you are a good person. Have you actually looked at yourself from a distance and really observed yourself?

Hmm… maybe the first thing you’ll say is I’ve got to get rid of my bulging tummy… well back to the issue at hand. We are our best critiques because we know ourselves better. Sometimes we may do something that is not acceptable in the eyes of the society but in reality we really don’t have much of a choice. Running a red light because if the car stops.. well it won’t start again! We do have to make those type of tough decisions as we race towards of goals in life. May I ask you what are we chasing or racing for? We leave our children to go to work. You leave your beautiful wife to fend for herself and you also may leave her for the occasional overseas trip.. all because you have to. Are we too engrossed in the rat race that we leave our loved ones behind. I gotta run so you take care of yourselves okay.

Usin bolt has to run too but he is making millions in under ten seconds! Are we even close to making millions in a year?

Ask yourselves again. Who are we? What are our roles in life? Who will actually help us and comfort us in our time of distress? Look at ourselves from a distance and maybe we’ll find out.

Do’a-Do’a malaikat Jibril menjelang Ramadhan “Ya Allah tolong abaikan puasa ummat Muhammad, apabila sebelum memasuki bulan Ramadhan dia tidak melakukan hal-hal yang berikut: * Tidak memohon maaf terlebih dahulu kepada kedua orang tuanya; * Tidak berma’afan terlebih dahulu antara suami isteri; * Tidak bermaafan terlebih dahulu dengan orang-orang sekitarnya. a malaikat Jibril menjelang Ramadhan “Ya Allah tolong abaikan puasa ummat Muhammad, apabila sebelum memasuki bulan Ramadhan dia tidak melakukan hal-hal yang berikut: * Tidak memohon maaf terlebih dahulu kepada kedua orang tuanya; * Tidak berma’afan terlebih dahulu antara suami isteri; * Tidak bermaafan terlebih dahulu dengan orang-orang sekitarnya.

Niat berbuka puasa :

allahumma laka somtu wa bika aamantu wa ‘alaa rizqika afthartu birahmatika ya arhamarrohimin

 

Maksudnya: “Ya Allah bagi Engkau aku berpuasa dan dengan Engkau beriman aku dengan rezeki Engkau aku berbuka dengan rahmat Engkau wahai yang Maha Pengasih dan Penyayang”.

Kepada umat Islam, muslimin dan muslimah sekalian selamat menjalani ibadah puasa.

We are emotional beings. We have positive and negative emotions. Believe it or not.. we are the creator of our emotions. When we are happy, we are able to write, create and even joke around but if we are emotionally disturbed, then we won’t even have the desire or even the energy to even move a single limb in our bodies.

Just something to ponder about.
